Florence

Last night we took a train from Rome to Florence. We almost left three people behind but thankfully they made it. I walked around last night and came upon the Doumo. It was amazing all lit up. Today we stood in line for a long time to see the David. What a beautiful man. One of the guys on the trip said that he made him feel inadiquate. (Is that how you spell that? There is no spell check on this computer.) I think that is how he should feel as should every man when they see thae David. WOW! We also went to the Doumo and climbed the tower. There were a million stairs (Not really a million but it sure felt like it after climbing St. Peter's yesterday.)We also had a walking tour of Florence. What a beautiful city this is. I love it here. This is how I hav always pictured Italy to be. Sadly, we are going to be here untill Saturday when we fly to Paris!

Vatican City

Today we went to the Vatican Museum. What a collection they have! Things from all over the world. I saw the Sistine Chapel today. It is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. There are no word...no words. Tomorrow we go to St. Peter's and then take a train to Florence. There I will finally be able to wash clothes!! Yes!

ROME!

Today we are in ROME! What a cool place. We walked everywhere today and saw a ton of stuff. The Colliseum, the Forum, a few churches and much more. The buildings here are amazing and soooo huge. Tomorrow we are going to the Vatican, the Sistein Chapel, and to some more churches. On Monday we are going to St. Peter's. I am most excited about going to the Sistine Chapel. More later...

Capri

I am writing to you from the isle of Capri! This place is so beautifu I can not believe it! This island had been the playground for the rich and famous for hundreds of years. There are nice little shops here and a lot of shops I could not even afford to buy anything in. Gucci and Armini to name a few. In our lecture today we talked about seeing Gods work in all place. This is one of those places. I am amzed by the extreme beauty that is here and the great peace that comes with it. This is by far the most beautiful place I have ever been.

London

We arrrived all in one piece. However, Forrest and a few other members of our group were delayed inSpokane due to thunder. Sadly they missed the flight to London and we are hoping that they will meet up with us on Thursday. We stayed in Gatwick last night in a very tiny hots with no top sheets on the beds. I am now in the Gatwick arieport waiting to fly to Naples. It is a beautiful day here in Britain and I am hoping it will be equally nice in Italy. We are staying in Naples for the next few day and I am very excited. That's all for now, cheery-o!

Almost Done!

When I make it through this week I will be home free. I don't have any finals next week. All I have to do is present a book I have writen next Tuesday night to my Children's Literature class. Not bad if you ask me. I plan to spend the rest of the week getting ready to go to Europe and cleaning up my house and car.
This last weekend I did a lot of work. I spent part of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday doing homework. On Saturday I took my brother Cameron to watch Tim shoot out in Mica. We had a great time and Cameron got to try out his new shotgun. Tim did really well and we believe that he won! Tim also took me danching on Saturday night out at Big Al's. This is the third time we have gone and I can't begin to tell you how much fun I have every time we go. Finally, on Sunday we worked on my Mustang! We got it started a few weeks ago and we are now just starting to replace parts to make it run better. All in all a great weekend!
